  • The Learning & Skills Zone will launch at Helitech International 2015 in London. The Zone will promote rotorcraft careers, frameworks and other opportunities to young people, and those looking to get into the industry, to increase the flow of talent into the sector. View the admissions policy.

  • Aviation Skills Awards

    New for 2015, Helitech International will host the first ever Aviation Skills Award for the rotorcraft industry, run by the Aviation Skills Partnership. The awards aim to showcase and recognise achievements of inspirational people, businesses and organisations working in the rotorcraft sector.

    Visiting the Zone

    The Zone is designed to provide students, schools, colleges and universities with the opportunity to meet with key training providers and industry experts, and learn about different career pathways in the industry. Groups of students will be hosted with tailored tours around the show introducing them to the industry and career options available.

  • The Skills Theatre

    The Zone will feature a Skills Theatre where visitors can learn about different careers in the industry, as well as meet with key training providers and industry experts.

    The theatre will feature sessions including:

    • The future of skills in the rotorcraft industry
    • Career pathways in the helicopter industry
    • So you want to be a helicopter pilot?
    • Polish up your job application skills
    • Offshore helicopter safety training
    • I’ve wanted to be a pilot since I was four!

    Aviation Skills Partnership has been established to transform the approach to skills & career development in the aviation sector. Operating across six areas of aviation (engineer, pilot, air traffic, airport operations, flight operations, planning and crew) they design, develop and implement a range of solutions to suit the needs of the industry.
