Description Our range of portable hot bonding controllers are used for the control & monitoring of temperature, pressure & time on a bonded / composite repair.
Our Type HBC-4301A (pictured) is a notebook / PC controlled unit, with rugged / solid state electronics. The main control case has: 3 independently controlled heated zones, 16 thermocouple inputs & integral, vacuum level monitoring (+ve and -ve pressure) & control of up to 4 points.
It is fully flexible and expandable up to 6 zones and 32 thermocouples. It has six ramp / soak stages in each cycle and a colour coded graphic display using a notebook PC. 99 curing cycles can be pre-programmed to minimise set up time and additionally user defined adhesive specifications can be programmed. A hardcopy of all temperature, pressure and alarm data can be produced.

Description JR Technology Limited (JRTL) have partnered with Victory Lighting Limited to offer a full range of shortwave Infra Red (IR) heater fittings & lamps adapted specifically for the composite & aerospace industries. IR lamps are 92% efficient at converting electricity into heat, giving considerable cost savings & a controllable, reliable heat source for instant temperatures up to 120+ deg C. Uses include curing of paints, sealants & adhesives.

At Helitech 2009 JRTL will be displaying the mobile Type JRTH-LP3000, 3000 Watt IR fitting & showcasing the newly updated Hot Boding Controller Type HBC-4301A as specified by Agusta / Westland's for bonded repairs on Lynx, Merlin & Sea King aircraft.

Description The WP-632AM is the latest addition to the Woodpecker family of NDT tap testers. These are used for detecting flaws in composite and bonded structures. The WP-632AM has an LCD display built into the Handpiece, which clearly shows the set and measured contact times (in milli seconds) of the structure under test. It can be function tested in house to the manufacturers specification and JRTL offer a full calibration service.
