    Duxford is just 8 miles south of Cambridge on Junction 10 of the M11 motorway, 48 miles from London and less than 30 minutes from the M25. It is easily accessible from the A1, A14, M1 and the North. There is extensive free parking available at Duxford. Car Parks will be signposted from the A505.

    By Train

    Cambridge Train Station is the closest mainline train station to Helitech. Served by regular trains from London Kings Cross and London Liverpool Street, with other connections nationwide.

    A free shuttle bus service will operate between Cambridge Train Station and Helitech on Tuesday 27th, Wednesday 28th and Thursday at these times 09:05 - 09:35 - 10:05 - 10:35 and will return in the afternoons.

    National Express operates a regular service between London Victoria Coach Station and Cambridge that stops at Duxford Imperial War Museum. National Express Coaches also offer a frequent direct service to Cambridge bus station from Stanstead Airport, which takes approximately 50 minutes.

    Stansted Airport is the closest airport to Helitech and is situated next to Junction 8 of the M11 motorway. Direct flights arrive and depart from the majority of European Cities, enabling connections to international flights. The airport railway station is situated below the terminal building. There is a direct train service from Stansted Airport to Cambridge this runs every hour; journey time is approximately 30 minutes.

    London City Airport operates direct services from many European cities. Take the Docklands Light Railway from London City Airport to Bank. There you can pick up the Central Line (London Underground) to London Liverpool Street station where trains run direct to Cambridge station.

    Gatwick Airport is located 28 miles south of London, directly linked to the M23 motorway, Junction 9 and is approximately 96 miles from Cambridge. The Gatwick Express is a non-stop rail service to Victoria Station, Central London, taking about 30 minutes and operating approximately every 15 minutes. Trains also operate into Kings Cross Station with a journey time from Gatwick of approximately 50 minutes, where it is possible to take a train to Cambridge, approximately 1 hour. Whilst there is no direct coach service to Cambridge, there is an Airbus to Victoria coach station then a coach to Cambridge.

    Heathrow Airport is just off the M4, junction 3 and 4, and the M25 off Junction 14 and 15. The Heathrow Express is a non-stop service between Heathrow and Paddington Station, Central London, taking about 15 minutes and operating every 15 minutes. Heathrow is also serviced by the London Underground, on the Piccadilly Line; average journey to Central London is approximately 60 minutes. Kings Cross station is on the Piccadilly Line, and from there trains operate to Cambridge, approximately 1 hour. A coach service operates between Heathrow – Cambridge; journey time is approximately 2 hours.
